PeoplePond launched amidst all the fun at SXSW

While some of my compadres had been to SXSW in prior years, this is my first time. And to make it even more exciting, it is also the first opportunity for the public to see and discuss PeoplePond with us. We are exhibiting during both the Interactive and the Music tradeshows. That makes for a long week of meeting a lot of people from all walks of life.

We are also giving away lots of prizes to new registrants during this time. There are Apple iPod Nanos and iTunes pre-loaded cards and one very sexy looking Vespa S150 scooter that will be given away on the last day of the Music tradeshow.

So far the response from people has been an overwhelming “where have you been all my life?” Even we have been surprised at how positive the response has been. It’s been a lot of fun to show off PeoplePond.

I have been attending SEO tradeshows for years and, frankly, I am really surprised at how many SXSW attendees “get” what personal SEO is and why it should matter to them. I really underestimated this audience. And SXSW does attract a lot of independent creatives for whom personal SEO isn’t a luxury – it’s a requirement.

Are there tutorials on how to configure peoplepond?
